caGrid 1.1 Software

Prerequisites

caGrid requires the following software:

• Java 1.5 JDK
• Ant 1.6.5
• Globus WS-Core with WS-Enum Support
• (Optional) If you want to deploy services to tomcat, you will need Tomcat 5.0.28
  • Other versions of tomcat will work, but they aren't officially supported (read:tested) by caGrid.
• (Optional) If you are deploying caGrid core services locally, you may also need a MySQL database.

The caGrid Installer will install all of these prerequisites except for Java and MySQL.

Installing caGrid

To install caGrid you can follow the installer instructions, or build it yourself by checking out the source code directly from subversion.
